What does AI consulting cost for a small business?
The Stack + Roadmap diagnostic is a flat price: $495 for solo operations (one or two people) and $995 for teams of three or more — backed by our guarantee: if we can't identify at least 5 hours a week of realistic time savings (3 for solo), it's free. Build-outs and the monthly Optimize plan are quoted per engagement, because scope genuinely varies — but always as a fixed quote in writing before any work starts.
We've already tried ChatGPT. How is this different?
Trying ChatGPT is like test-driving a truck; setting up your business to use AI is like building the delivery route. The value comes from configuration (your context, templates, and guardrails), integration with the software you already run, and training your team on the specific workflows that save them hours.
Do you only work with businesses in Sacramento?
Sacramento and the surrounding region — Elk Grove, Roseville, Folsom, Davis, and nearby — is where we work in person, which is how we prefer to start. Remote engagements are possible for the right fit.
I'm a one-person business. Is this overkill for me?
No — solo operations often see the fastest payoff, because there's no one to delegate the busywork to. A solopreneur engagement is smaller and cheaper than a team one: typically a focused setup of two or three workflows (client follow-up, content, admin) plus a working session to make them stick.
Do we need to be technical to work with you?
No. Most of our clients are owner-operated businesses without IT staff. Everything we build comes with plain-English documentation, and training assumes no technical background.
